Vimtrim is excited to put the spotlight on Doug LaRock this month!
Congratulations from staff and friends at Vimtrim! Doug started training at Vimtrim with our trainer Karen Nank in August 2018.
Doug came to us to because he decided to change his current health and feel better. Doug’s initial goals were
- Gain muscle and strength
- Work on balance
- To be able to walk 5 miles a
In the short 3 months that Doug has been training with Karen, he has achieved all 3 of those goals. He went from 30% body fat to 18%, 30% muscle to 34% muscle. His balance is better and he is walking 5 miles a day
His new goals now are
- Continue to gain muscle ( increase his biceps measurements)
- Continue working on balance
- To do 5 pull-ups
Doug is doing things now like relandscaping his yard and walking 5 miles a day. He could have never done these things before training with Karen at Vimtrim.
Doug is off his Diabetes medications as well and his mobility in his body is like night and day. We started Doug out on 2 days a week of strength training with Karen and is now doing 3 one hour sessions a week
Through the knowledge of Karen at Vimtrim Doug has gained new health tips to better enhance his life. From recipes, proper forum to correct stretches to relieve soreness. Doug’s positive attitude and his eagerness to do the work that it takes to achieve his goals has made working with him a joy.
